To celebrate the return of the BINGE original series STRIFE, stars Asher Keddie, Matt Day, Emma Lung, Mary Coustas, Maria Angelico, Rhys Mitchell, Tina Bursill, and Bryony Skillington walked the red carpet tonight at an exclusive launch event at Island Radio in Sydney alongside media personalities and influencers.
Also in attendance were executive producer and Made Up Stories co-founder Bruna Papandrea, director Neil Sharma, executive producer Mia Freedman,screenwriter Sarah Scheller and writers Clare and Jessie Stephens.
The first season of STRIFE broke records when it debuted, becoming BINGE’s biggest original series premiere of all time. Produced by award-winning production company Made Up Stories in partnership with global film and TV studio Fifth Season, with production investment from Screen Australia, STRIFE is a comedic drama that follows Evelyn Jones (Asher Keddie), a modern, imperfect woman and publisher, on her journey from lounge room blogger to becoming a force in women’s media. Set in the dynamic world of publishing and digital media, the series is inspired by Mia Freedman’s memoir Work, Strife, Balance.
The new season will see more of Australia’s best talent added to the already star-studded cast with Mary Coustas, Karis Oka, Nathan Page, Dylan Alcott and Tim Minchin all joining the cast. The new faces will join returning cast members Jonathan LaPaglia, Alex Dimitriades, Olivia Junkeer, BeBe Bettencourt, Darcy Tadich, Willow Speers, Lucy Ansell and Lincoln Younes.
The 8-part BINGE original series premieres Thursday May 8 2025 at 8.30pm on BINGE, available on Hubbl, and on Showcase at 8.30pm and is available On Demand with episodes dropping weekly.
