Fox Footy Officially Launches Biggest Season Yet on Kayo Sports

A star-studded line-up of special guests came together today with AFL executives, media and key partners joining Fox Footy at the launch of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.

Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany and AFL CEO Andrew Dillon were joined by a host of Fox Footy talent at the exclusive Beverly Rooftop in South Yarra, including Jason Dunstall, Garry Lyon, Kelli Underwood, Sarah Jones, Jack Riewoldt and Jonathan Brown.

Western Bulldogs captain and 2016 Premiership winner, Marcus Bontempelli and 2024 AFLW Best and Fairest winner, Adelaide Crows co-captain Ebony Marinoff fronted media while other prominent sporting figures such as Fox Cricket commentator Adam Gilchrist, Supercars driver Mark Winterbottom and boxer Michael Zerafa also attended.

Coming off a record-breaking 2024 season which was the most watched ever across Foxtel Group platforms, guests were treated to a preview of season 2025 which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

‘Super Saturday LIVE’ brings the best of live footy to subscribers and will see coverage and programming on Fox Footy from the first bounce to the final siren every Saturday. Fox Footy, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, will be the only place to watch live AFL on a Saturday in Victoria and Tasmania for every round of the home and away season, and nationally for the first eight rounds.

For the first time, Fox Footy will also feature dedicated commentary teams on every match plus bespoke graphics and coverage in 4k, giving audiences more choice than ever before.

Guests at the launch were given a sneak peek of Kayo Sports’ latest TVC, starring three-time premiership player and friend of Fox Footy, Dustin Martin. The TVC, which also features Jack Riewoldt, Jonathon Brown, Dermott Brereton and Tayla Harris is set to debut Sunday, March 2.

After beating out more than 450 entrants from all over Australia in the Kayo Call Up competition, winner Jarra Davis was officially welcomed to the Fox Footy team. The 22-year-old from Gippsland will join the team on ‘Super Saturday LIVE’ to provide social insights and some behind-the-scenes fun from the ground.

Fox Sports Managing Director Steve Crawley said:

"Season 2024 was a record-breaking year for Fox Footy but with the greatest respect this season's coverage will be bigger and better. It's the only place where you can see every game of every round live, not to mention with the best callers and the best pictures, and we're ad-break free in play. Everyone at Fox Footy has been working hard to make sure we bring fans what they deserve - the best of the best. Bring it on!"
