Foxtel and Netflix have renewed their long-standing partnership in a multi-year deal. Under the agreement, Platinum Plus Foxtel iQ customers will continue to enjoy Netflix as part of their Foxtel subscription, with Netflix content also seamlessly integrated throughout the Foxtel iQ experience.

Foxtel Group’s Executive Director – Content & Commercial Partnerships Stephanie Quinn said: “Netflix remains one of the world’s leading streaming services and as DAZN continues to aggregate the best entertainment brands for Australian audiences, they remain a key strategic partner.

“Netflix was the foundation app included on Foxtel’s iQ platform when we revolutionised the Foxtel experience in 2019 and has been a key part of that experience ever since. Customer engagement with Netflix has been strong showing the value of having Netflix seamlessly integrated into Foxtel. Together, we’ve helped shape the way Australians access and enjoy their favourite entertainment shows and movies.”

The partnership reinforces Foxtel iQ as the only place in Australia where audiences can access blockbuster hits from both platforms in a single destination. This includes Netflix favourites like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and Squid Game alongside Foxtel’s acclaimed local and global hits and Originals like Colin From Accounts, The Five Star Weekend and The Other Bennet Sister making it easier than ever to discover and enjoy great entertainment.

Netflix Director, Business Development - Rest of Asia (ANZ, Greater China, and SEA), Allen Pan said: "Netflix's partnership with Foxtel has always been about making it as easy as possible for Australians to find the local and international films and TV shows they love, in one place. We're proud to extend this partnership and keep bringing the world's best entertainment to Australian screens."

Foxtel Managing Director Steve O’Connor said: “This extension builds on DAZN and Netflix’s shared ambition to give customers exceptional value, choice and convenience, with the world’s best entertainment available seamlessly in one place. By bringing together premium television, on-demand content and world-class streaming services, Foxtel continues to strengthen its position as Australia’s leading entertainment aggregator and make it easier for customers to find and enjoy the content they love.”

Alongside Netflix, Foxtel iQ subscribers can also access Prime Video1, Disney+1, YouTube2, ABC iView2, SBS On Demand1, 9Now1, ABC Kids2, F1® TV3, Paramount+1, 7plus5, Stan6, DocPlay7, Apple TV8 and HBO Max*, bringing 16 of Australia’s favourite apps together in one place.
