Three-time premiership player, Brownlow Medallist and one of the most talked-about figures in football this year, Michael Voss will take on his newest role in the game when he joins Fox Footy’s Thursday Night Footy team from Round 16.
After a month away from the weekly demands of AFL, but never far from the game he loves, a refreshed Voss is ready to step behind the microphone and bring his unique perspective to viewers across the country.
Voss will add his modern football knowledge, coaching expertise and unrivalled understanding of the elite game to Fox Footy’s commentary team. He will join Thursday Night Footy’s Sarah Jones, Jason Dunstall, Leigh Montagna, David King, Mark Howard, Matt Hill and Dwayne Russell.
Having enjoyed an extraordinary playing career that included three premierships, a Brownlow Medal, five All-Australian selections and captaining the Brisbane Lions in their dynasty era, Voss remains one of the most respected voices in the sport, and offers a rare and timely insight into the modern game.
Fox Footy commentator, Michael Voss said: “I’ve worked closely with many of the Fox Footy team over the journey. It’s always been a professional and insightful approach and gives something unique to people watching the game.
“The conversation is already so strong with the talent that is there, so I hope to complement the team where needed.
