Kayo Sports has launched a nationwide talent search to find the next Fox Footy on-air star who will feature on the new-look Super Saturday LIVE coverage in 2025.

‘Super Saturday LIVE’ is a new offering for subscribers – as part of the landmark AFL rights deal – which requires an expanded suite of hosts, commentators and experts who will provide more analysis and programming than ever before.

Fox Footy has already shaken up the industry with recent big-name signings including Shaun Burgoyne, Tom Hawkins and Leigh Matthews with further talent announcements to come.

The Kayo Call Up launched last night via a competition reveal video which aired during The AFL Draft coverage, featuring recently retired Richmond champion Dustin Martin and Fox Footy expert Jack Riewoldt.

The competition winner will be offered a paid on-air role and mentorship for at least the first eight rounds of the 2025 home and away season.

Riewoldt said: “It was great to sync back up with my old teammate Dustin to have a bit of fun with this announcement.”

“I’m lucky to work alongside such respected and talented experts at Fox Footy and this is a dream role for someone who wants a fast-tracked career in broadcasting as part of our Super Saturday LIVE coverage next season.”

Applications for The Kayo Call Up close on December 11 while the winner will be announced in February next year after a shortlisting process.

Budding commentators, hosts, boundary riders, experts or people wanting a leg-up in the broadcasting industry are asked to submit a creative video and their details via a dedicated competition website - https://thekayocallup.kayosports.com.au/

Fox Footy – available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel – will be the ONLY place to watch AFL exclusively live on Saturday’s nationally for the first eight rounds of the home and away season (nine weeks, inclusive of Opening Round).

For the first time Fox Footy commentary and graphics will also be made available during every match of the season, offering fans a stronger choice in how they consume football coverage. Every match will also be available in 4K with no ad-breaks during play.

Discussions with Dustin Martin are ongoing.
