The 2024 season of the WBBL has become the most watched ever across Foxtel Group platforms Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go and BINGE, up 41% year-on-year, and driven by record streaming audiences. It is the fourth consecutive year of growth. In total, 132 million minutes were streamed across the platform.

The thrilling Finals clash between the Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat is in Foxtel Group’s top five of the most watched WBBL matches of all-time.

The most watched match in the regular season to-date was the WBBL|09 Finals rematch between Heat vs Strikers (Game 20), with the most watched teams being the Strikers, Renegades and Scorchers.

Foxtel Group’s ‘Summer of Cricket’ continues with exclusive coverage of the Women’s ODI against India kicking off on Thursday 5 December, with the Men’s Second Test of the Australia-India series kicking off on Friday 6 December. The Men’s BBL begins on Sunday 15 December when the five-time BBL champions Perth Scorchers take on the Melbourne Stars.
