This commitment is brought to life through our community partners and the Foxtel Group’s 2021-2023 Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan. Our vision for reconciliation is to showcase the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and, through our audience reach, help shape a national culture that values respect, equality and equity for First Nations peoples. We are committed to strengthening our connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and reflecting the values of reconciliation.

The Foxtel Group has a long tradition of telling Australian stories through our original drama, lifestyle and sports productions. We acknowledge Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the original storytellers. As one of Australia’s leading media companies, we have a unique opportunity to use our storytelling and community service airtime to strengthen the connection Australians have with First Nations cultures and promote respect, trust and positive relationships.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan outlines a series of initiatives that strengthen our contribution to reconciliation and outlines how we will use our influence to amplify First Nations voices across our platforms through our storytelling, the passion of our people and the scale of our business.

These initiatives have also seen the Foxtel Group partner with a range of First Nations community organisations to support its contribution to reconciliation. This includes the Clontarf Foundation, Reconciliation Australia, the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and Career Trackers.
